Fully stocked and minutes from everything, this second-floor apartment is ready to be your home-away-from-home. This space gets great light and looks out over the neighborhood. Part of Arcata Vacation Suites, a six-unit vacation rental compound in the heart of Arcata, this sunny apartment is close to everything you want to do in Arcata. The building was built sometime in the 1950’s so it has both mid-century features and modern comforts. Relax on your balcony bistro table or mingle with other guest in our lovely large shared yard space that also features a propane fire pit for those cool Humboldt evenings. Your stay will also include use of our Humboldt Getaways Gift Voucher which gives you exclusive discounts to many of our favorite local spots in the area!

Details To Note When Booking

Please note, this is an upstairs space with exterior staircase access only. Guests have access to all parts of the shared side yard property. We have a coin-op laundry room that is accessible to all guests and requires $1.25 in quarters to use washer and $1.25 to use dryer, sorry we don’t have a change machine so please come prepared if planning on doing laundry. This house shares a wall with another unit. We ask all guests to reduce noise between 9:00 PM and 8:00 AM. On street parking only.

“An absolutely amazing find. Perfect location, right downtown and close to the college where we were visiting my little sister. Amber has all the little details down to a science. Really enjoyed our stay!”

“This little apartment is located within a short walk to the main square in Arcata where there are lots of great dining options. The unit shares a nice private yard with other units that is fully fenced. There is a fire table and chairs to sit out and enjoy. It was great to let our dog off the leash to roam around. We were able to park in front of the rentals without a problem. The unit was just right for two people.“

“This location was perfect! A 5min walk to the plaza where we enjoyed farmers market on Saturday morning, as well as great places to eat/drink and shop. And only one block from the cutest wine tasting room. Such a convenient spot!“

“For a couple of nights, there was live music from local musicians at a bar/restaurant a block over, very enjoyable on a summer evening and they only played through the dinner hours, so it was a quiet neighborhood by 8 pm. I also met some nice people staying in the unit next door and enjoyed visiting with them outside in the garden/yard area while our dogs played together.”
